Influenza (Flu) – a common illness that is caused by a virus and that causes fever, weakness, severe aches and pains, and breathing problems.
Pneumonia – a serious disease that affects the lungs and makes it difficult to breathe.
Herpes Zoster (Shingles)
Are you 50 years of age or older? You may be at risk for developing shingles. Protect yourself from this painful rash. Ask our pharmacist, Jeff, if the shingles vaccine, called Zostavax, may be right for you.
Hepatitis A – an acute usually benign hepatitis caused by a single-stranded RNA virus of the family Picornaviridae (species Hepatitis A virus of the genus Hepatovirus) that does not persist in the blood serum and is transmitted especially in food and water contaminated with infected fecal matter
Hepatitis B – a sometimes fatal hepatitis caused by a double-stranded DNA virus (species Hepatitis B virus of the genus Orthohepadnavirus, family Hepadnaviridae) that tends to persist in the blood serum and is transmitted especially by contact with infected blood or other bodily fluids (as semen)
Tetanus – a dangerous disease that is caused by bacteria that usually enter the body through a cut or wound.
Diptheria – a serious disease that makes breathing very difficult
